Welcome to our brand new 2012 Olympics page. Throughout the build-up to the Olympics and Paralympics and during the Games themselves, we’ll be providing links and ideas to help your school get involved with this momentous event. We’re also keen to hear what your centre is doing to get involved with the Olympics. Get in the Zone
To celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Wellcome Trust has worked with well-known sportspeople such as Steve Redgrave, plus sport and exercise scientists, to produce a range of sport-related physiology experiments that are all free!
The experiments come with free equipment so that you can carry out lots of different physiology tests in the classroom or out in the field. For more information, visit the Get in the Zone web page.
