Redevelopment of BTEC Nationals for first teaching September 2014 We're beginning a review and redevelopment of our BTEC Nationals suite with a view to having new qualifications available for first teaching in September 2014 (subject to Ofqual accreditation). We want to ensure that our level 3 BTECs continue to meet the changing needs of learners and reflect the evolving education and employment context. As part of this project, we're keen to hear your thoughts. Thank you to those of you who have already signed up. We'll be in touch again in the autumn term to plan your involvement. Application for extensions of QCF BTEC Firsts and Nationals The accreditation for our current QCF BTEC First and National qualification suites is due to expire in either August or December this year. We will be seeking extensions to 2014 for these, while also working on the development of revised or replacement qualifications. We'll update you on progress after the summer break. BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma: More subjects submitted to Ofqual for accreditation Many of you have been asking for an update on the progress of our 90-credit BTEC Level 3 Diploma qualifications.
