We've planned a series of online training events throughout Summer 2013, to support you with the delivery and assessment of the WorkSkills qualifications. To book on to any of our events email trainingbooking@edexcel.com with your details and the code of the event you wish to attend.

Our online events will run from 16:00-18:00 and can count as 2 hours of CPD. Online events enable you to train your whole department for the cost of one login. Email trainingbookings@edexcel.com for more information.


BTEC WorkSkills: Effective delivery and assessment

These online events cost £70 per delegate and will:

• discuss the rationale and structure of the qualification
• consider different models for delivery
• look at examples of curriculum planning and embedding key skills
• consider effective assignment writing and how to assess learner work effectively
• have the opportunity to ask questions.

Using SEPE for group activities

This free online event provides an introduction to Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness (SEPE), and how this qualification allows individual recognition for group activities. This qualification is based on units from the WorkSkills qualifications.

Delegates will:

• match units for mixed ability groups
• write cross-curricular schemes of work
• write assignments for group activities and be able to assess an individual
• have the opportunity to ask questions.
