Job opportunities exist in many different areas of tourism, including travel agents and tour operators for outbound travel, as well as tourist boards and strategic authorities dealing with travel to the UK. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Travel and Tourism provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.

The BTEC Nationals in Travel and Tourism were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism from September 2010. Find out more
