Horticulture is a diverse sector that includes nursery work, garden design, plant propagation and production, contract management, sports turf and groundsmanship, organic landscaping, science and education. The BTEC Level 3 National Award, Certificate and Diploma in Horticulture are designed to provide a springboard to a university degree or Foundation Degree in an appropriate vocational discipline, to BTEC HNCs and HNDs, or to employment.

The BTEC Nationals in Horticulture were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 3 Certificate, Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Horticulture from September 2010. Find out more
