GCSE from 2010 | ICT - Double Award, Unit 4

The GCSE 2010 modular ICT specification is available to download below, and has a final assessment window of June 2013.

The GCSE 2012 linear ICT specification for first teaching in September 2012 (for two-year courses) and first assessment in June 2014 is also available below. The main changes are:

• Linear assessment structure: exams are taken at the end of the course
• No content change to the specification
• Controlled assessment can be completed at any time during the course
• No resits before cash-in.

Unit 4: Creating Digital Products

This is a practical unit. Students broaden and enhance their ICT skills and capability. They work with arrange of digital tools and techniques to produce effective ICT solutions in a range of contexts. They learn to reflect critically on their own and others’ use of ICT and to adopt safe, secure and responsible practice.
