• Existing Edexcel centres are already approved to run all functional skills qualifications.

However, if you wish to offer these qualifications with onscreen testing, you will need to complete the Skills for Life and Functional Skills Qualification Approval form. You will need to submit this form at least 10 working days before the date you intend to register learners.

• New centres will need to gain approval to become an Edexcel centre before offering functional skills. Please be aware that the approval procedure may take up to six weeks to complete.
  Please complete the Academic Centre Approval (Centre Recognition) form and return it to serviceoperations@pearson.com.

Alternatively, if you are unsure whether or not you are an Edexcel centre, you can submit an Intention to Offer form for any of our qualifications and an Edexcel representative will contact you.
