We've organised a free face-to-face training event in May to support you with the delivery and assessment of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
This free full-day event is aimed at teachers who are new to delivering the Edexcel ESOL (Skills for Life) qualifications.
Delegates will:
- learn about the administrative processes required to set up as a centre
- see how to assess learners’ levels using the national standards
- discuss using learning plans for learning and assessment
- see how to link ESOL (Skills for Life) to wider learning, including contextualising and embedding ESOL
- look at incorporating the national literacy tests at Levels 1 and 2
- receive guidance on assessing learners using the ESOL unit tests.
