We have extended the Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Award in Transporting Passengers by Taxi and Private Hire (500/3129/6) until 31 March 2011.
You can register learners on to this qualification immediately using the existing onscreen tests. Please ensure that you use the correct specification, which you'll find on the this can be located on the relevant qualification subject page.
From 1 April 2011, centres should register learners on to the replacement QCF qualification, Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to the Role of the Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver (QCF) (600/0049/1), where new test banks will be made available. The existing Edexcel Level 2 NVQ in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (500/3128/4) has also been extended until 31 March 2011. You can choose to continue to register learners on this NQF qualification, or register them on the replacement QCF qualification, Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (Taxi and Private Hire) (QCF) (600/0326/1). |
