 AELP National Conference 2012

AELP plays a pivotal role in representing the views of learning providers throughout England and the national conference is the ‘must-attend’ event to keep abreast of the latest policy initiatives and their impact on the employability and skills market.

At this year’s conference, Pearson Work Based Learning and EDI will be exhibiting together for the first time, bringing together two dedicated work-based learning awarding organisations to offer the very best support to employers and learning providers involved in the delivery of work-based learning.

Pearson Work Based Learning and EDI will also be hosting four workshops, combining their expertise to ensure that your organisation is prepared and supported to embrace the new challenges that lie ahead. The workshops will cover the following topics:

  • Quality in Apprenticeships

  • Employment Related Services.

Conference details

The AELP National Conference will be run over two days, Tuesday 19 June 2012 to Wednesday 20 June 2012, at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. It will be chaired and presented by Reeta Chakrabarti, a BBC correspondent specialising in education and social affairs.
 
Aimed at learning providers and employers interested in skills and employability, the conference is a platform for debating the strategic vision and planning direction for the skills and employability sectors.
