Before you start a qualification

A qualification proves that you have knowledge and skills in a particular area. They show an employer, professional body or educational body that you have achieved a specific level of understanding and ability.

We offer a wide range of qualifications with a variety of methods of assessment, from exams only, to practical work only, to a mix of both. Hands on, theory-based, or a combination of the two, we'll have a qualification to suit you.

Exam and course costs

BTECs are equivalent to GCSEs, A levels or a degree depending on the level studied. To understand how grades for BTECs compare with grades for GCSEs and A levels you need to know how the points system works.

Support during your course

If you are at school or college, your teachers will provide you with support and guidance. We also offer a range of support for students, parents and adult learners online.

All past papers for A levels, GCSEs, International GCSEs, Functional Skills and Principal Learning are available, except those that are less than nine months old or from the past two Functional Skills exam sessions.
