The NIACE Adult Learners' Week ceremony recognises and celebrates the achievement of adult learners in different areas of education, including Apprenticeships and vocational training. We're proud to have supported these awards for the second consecutive year.
We would like to congratulate Aysha Bentley for winning the Apprentice of the Year Award, supported by Pearson, at the 2012 Adult Learners’ Week Awards. Aysha was presented the prestigious award by Trevor Luker, Managing Director of Pearson Work Based Learning.
Aysha, who recently completed a BTEC Apprenticeship, said the following about her achievement: “Now, because I believe in myself more, I have qualifications and hands-on work experience, it is much easier for me to get a job... I can see a path for my future.”
We would also like to congratulate Tom Hewart and Nicola Mitchell, who were both highly recommended for this award.
You can find out more about all the winners on the NIACE Adult Learners' Week website.
