Accreditation for NVQs in Food Manufacture has been extended to June 30th 2011.

Funding 

Although the NVQ has been extended, Train to Gain funding is no longer available for the NVQ (all levels). However, the NVQ will be funded through the existing NVQ-based Apprenticeship framework until the newly SASE-compliant framework replaces it (likely to be in March 2011).

The new QCF Improve Proficiency Qualifications (IPQs) continue to be funded under Train to Gain. However, new IPQs will not be funded in the Apprenticeship framework until the new SASE-compliant framework replaces it.
