Tea Time Briefings - free online GCSE ICT training for 2012-2013
At 4pm, grab a drink and attend one of our Tea Time Briefings. These short online training briefings are completely free. Our programme for 2012-2013 is below. To book a place, please email ictteam@pearson.com with your name, centre number and the booking reference of the briefing you’d like to attend. If you would like to suggest a Tea Time Briefing on a particular topic, please let us know at the same email address.

Edexcel GCSE ICT – a tour of the support we offer
This free online event is intended for teachers who will be teaching the Edexcel GCSE ICT specification for the first time in September 2013. The event will be run by Gareth Byrne, our Subject Advisor for ICT. He will give you an overview of:
· the support and resources available to you as you start delivering the course
· the structure of the qualification
· the requirements for controlled assessment, including the software in the moderator’s toolkit. |

CAB 2013
In this free online event, Gareth Byrne, our Subject Advisor for ICT, will walk you through the 2013 CAB ‘Music Festival’, and the accompanying CAB Support Notes. He will also give guidance on preparing students’ work for moderation. |
